This initiative helps individuals regain sight, confidence, and the ability to participate fully in education, work, and daily life.

Problem Statement

Rural populations in Raigad and Thane districts face significant challenges in accessing quality eye care services. Many individuals suffer from untreated cataracts and other vision-related conditions due to financial constraints and lack of medical facilities.

Children are particularly vulnerable, with conditions such as refractive errors, amblyopia, squints, and cataracts affecting their development and education. Without timely intervention, these issues can lead to permanent visual impairment.

Project Goal

This project will accomplish these additional goals

  1. Eliminate avoidable blindness in rural communities
  2. Provide accessible and affordable eye care services
  3. Support cataract and pediatric eye surgeries
  4. Improve vision health and overall quality of life

Support Rotary Eye Hospital (Pali) in bringing the gift of sight to those who need it most—because clear vision can transform lives.
